We are the same age… I’m planning to move to Mexico in another year or so… How was it being alone and traveling alone and checking everything out on your own? Or maybe you were with somebody and I am mistaken. I’m very independent but worry a little bit i’ll feel isolated or lonely

Hey Bonny…I hear you! I too am very independant and yes, I did it on my own completely. The only crappy thing about travelling alone is that when you come across something interesting or that takes your breath away, there’s no one there enjoying it with you. It helped that I was on my own at a very young age. It may have developed my “courage” (as some people refer to it) or “fearlessness” (some call it recklessness) that is key to trying out new things.
And my mantra has also been that most people are good and most people are honest. Of course, we should always listen to our gut feeling too as it’s the most developed sensor we have!
